Shoei Multitec Helmet - txadventure

After owning the XD3 for a while, I wanted to get another flip-face helmet for cross-border rides into Mexico, where at each checkpoint I had to remove my helmet so that they could match face to passport.

I'd really liked the Shoei Syncrotec previously, so I grabbed the newer Multitec.

I was less than thrilled at the Multitec after riding with it however, as it flowed less air, the shield notches were weak and the visor would not stay in position at highway speed, the helmet was noisy and in general seemed a bit cheaper than the old Syncrotec.

I didn't enjoy the helmet and ended up selling it - quite a surprise as I hold Shoei in high regards.
